Limiting Beliefs Can Block You From What You Want

Without picking apart our beliefs we may never get started, follow through or get closer to what we want for ourselves or who we want to be.

So this is about limiting beliefs. I think when we go towards something that we want and we essentially becoming the person that we want to be I think we often times face doubts, beliefs that kind of block us.

The best thing I found was to actually just sit down and write them out and to kind of question every single limiting belief belief that discouraged me.

Every belief that kept me from doing something or going towards something I wanted and I think that’s the only way that we can actually achieve something that we want because if we actually listen to the belief we would not change it, we would just keep the limiting beliefs and just take them as they are as the truth.

For example “oh okay so because of my background I cannot do that”, “because of my size I cannot do that”, “because of XYZ whatever I can come up with I can’t do that”, “because my history I can’t do that”, whatever it is I think we need to sit with our limiting beliefs as we are heading towards what we want for ourselves and change them.

We cannot take them at face value where we discourage ourselves and then quit, not do something or give up on something instead of just acknowledging the feeling, acknowledging the thought or the belief that comes with it and then looking at how the opposite might be true or how the belief in itself is flawed and getting rid of the belief while continue heading towards what we want for ourselves towards our goals.
